Edwin Larson, MD - General Psychiatrist at Sarasota Center of Revitalizing Psychiatry
After graduating from the University of Louisville School of Medicine and an internship in Philadelphia Dr. Larson completed his psychiatric residency at the University of Cincinnati.Then he taught as assistant professor of psychiatry at the University of Cincinnati for 12 years. During this time also served as Medical Director of Cincinnati Court Psychiatric Clinic and eventually opened a full time private practice in Cincinnati.
Dr. Larson brings 35 years of experience in treating a variety of psychiatric problems. His experience Includes inpatient and outpatient treatments of adults and adolescents for the larger spectrum of psychiatric disorders.
Doctor Larson not only has experience with medication management but also has expertise in working with issues of aging, grief and mourning, ADD and ADHD, and sports psychology.
